Individual therapy is a beautiful gift to yourself, and a powerful step in your journey toward radical self-acceptance. My approach with clients is collaborative, trauma-informed, strengths-based, and eclectic to meet your unique needs. I provide gentle yet direct guidance to help you explore and build insight into yourself, cultivate self-compassion and inner safety, and discover new strategies for supporting yourself and your relationships.
We will spend our first couple of sessions exploring what has brought you here - to the decision to seek support and work on you. We’ll collaborate together to frame the issues or problems that you’re dealing with, so that they can start to feel more manageable, and we’ll talk about our strategies for working through them. I offer tools for emotional regulation, self-awareness, and aligning your behaviors with your values. While you are the expert on yourself, I am here to guide you toward healing your inner wounds and embracing your whole self.
Our sessions do not focus on "fixing" difficult emotions, but rather learning how to navigate challenges with more openness, ease, and compassion.
